The 12th International Conference of The High Institute of Public Health

Welcome to AlexHealth 2026

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to participate in and actively contribute to the “12th International Conference of the High Institute of Public Health (HIPH): Alex Health 2026”, planned to be held during 25-26 November 2026, in Alexandria, Egypt. Many national and international scientists and agencies are expected to join the HIPH, the oldest public health academic institution in the Middle East and North Africa, this important biennial event.

Over two days, plenary presentations, panel discussions and scholarly (oral and poster) presentations will be exploring public health actions and roles during emergencies looking at health, economic, and social consequences, which require coordinated actions by governments and societies in Egypt, the Eastern Mediterranean and beyond.

We encourage you to submit your abstracts related to the conference main theme: “Public Health in Emergencies: applications, evidence and challenges” and other topics related to national and international emergency preparedness and response to be shared, presented and discussed during the conference deliberations.
